I just wanted to write you a quick note and let you know
that after
attending your inaugural event in Toledo, I think you've
come up with the
ideal workshop format.
First of all, shooting one on one with each model in
three to four hour
blocks was the perfect setup. It gave me time to talk to
the model and
decide what and where we were going to shoot, and then
enough time to carry
it out in a relaxed atmosphere without other attendees
constantly looking
over my shoulder. I can't say enough about the quality
of the models and
their willingness to achieve the look we wanted. Each
model was not only
beautiful and poised but brought her own personality to
the shoot.
Second, the mentor lineup was diverse. Each one had a
different style and I
learned something unique from each one. It was
invaluable having a mentor
work one on one with me and offer instruction as I was
developing the shoot.
Third, and possibly most important, was the fact that
prior to the workshop
you required me to write down what I personally wanted
to gain from the
workshop and in what area I needed, or wanted help. Then
during the workshop
the mentors were constantly making sure that the
instruction I was getting
was tailored specifically to my personal needs.
The workshop was worth considerably more than you
charged and I will most
definitely attend another one.

Thanks for your
kind words and for organizing such great event.
I was very happy how everything went on. All
your models were extremely beautiful, friendly, and
professional. The mentors
couldn’t be any more knowledgeable, helpful, and
patient with us. I was also very
happy to meet other attendees – I think we’ve made a
great team. You’re always the life of the group and
truly an unforgettable person!
Let me know
when you’re ready to organize another one of
these.

More than just another
"shootout" where a bunch of
pros, some amateurs, and a variety of models
congregate and work together, the Premier
workshop was
more of an actual teaching seminar, with one or
two
students assigned to a mentor pro in half-day
blocks.
The mentors for my session were Mike Cordano,
Wayne
Sclesky, Don Bersano, and Mike Dixon -- each a
hotshot
pro in their own right, and each genuinely
interested
in helping the attendees improve their work.
These
guys (especially Mike Cordano) went above and
beyond
the call of duty to help me get around some of
my
mental blocks, learn new approaches and ways of
seeing, and take home some outstanding images.
The
models were great, too, and just the chance to
work
with them was worth the cost of the workshop.
For me
overall, the workshop was less about learning
new
technical tricks, and more about improving my
interaction skills and the mental game of
photography.
It was very valuable for me, and even though I
do
primarily artistic photography, it's good to
have
strong glamour skills and be able to use the
techniques, many of which can transfer to any
form of
photography.
Kevin also went the extra mile at every turn
before,
during, and after the workshop to help ensure
that I
was getting what I needed out of the experience,
and
provided me with his own brand of information
and
ideas that are as valuable as many of the
photographic
techniques I picked up at the event. Thanks
Kevin!

Dear Premier,
This workshop was simply an outstanding experience for
me!
I didn't really know what to expect being my first
Workshop! The Photographers, Models and Organizers were
all great. Each team Photographer brings a different
prospective, style and technical level.
I cant say what I have learned, because its still
sinking in, even weeks later.
The organizers did everything in their power to make
sure everyone got what they wanted from this workshop,
that included having a chance to work with each model
and team photographer...
Studio lighting to natural light was covered. In my
case, equipment issues were discussed and evaluated...
thanks everyone :-)
The models you ask? No words really suffice, ok maybe
one! OUTSTANDING!
Thank you to everyone involved!

Thanks so much for all your
hard work and effort to put on such a first class event.
While this was my first experience with this kind of
session, I was thoroughly impressed with the
professionalism and learning environment you set up. The
four mentors were all outstanding in their own right and
gave me different perspectives as photography is
certainly a professional that allows for individual
interpretation. The fact that you had beautiful models
there to shoot, was an added plus! While I haven’t had a
chance to process all my pictures, (I took over 2,000
images) I know I have some wonderful shots that will be
used to start my portfolio. Thanks again for all your
help. Check out my work at
